John has developed a specialty in aligning & balancing business issues with interpersonal and family dynamics. He has extensive experience in business improvement, business diagnostics, role structuring and positioning for exit, liquidity or sale. His experience has also helped clients with profit and operations management, strategic planning and execution, succession planning, and executive coaching. John had the dual role of VP Finance & Senior Consultant in the start-up of a rapid growth consulting firm before joining BDO Seidman’s consulting practice (New York City) & leading the general business consulting practice for Coopers & Lybrand (Bermuda). After earning an accounting degree from the University of Mass., his CPA career started with Price Waterhouse. In the successful turn around of a fragrance manufacturer, he advanced from a financial role to lead operations & support. John has held leadership positions in the local chamber, CPA chapter, Rotary Club of Tampa & other organizations. He is a founder of the Florida Family Business Forum & organizer of the Florida Family Business of the Year Awards through the University of Tampa. |
