James (Jim) Sartain is a national speaker, trainer, and writer with twenty-five years of leadership experience with a background in program design, research and evaluation, technical writing and organizational development. Jim has provided workshops and presentations on leadership topics including strategic thinking and problem solving, creative strategic planning, effective communications, and developing high performance teams.

Jim serves as an executive coach to senior leadership in a variety of corporate settings. Jim has served for several years at the executive leadership level of a variety of not-for-profit, for-profit and faith-based organizations. Jim holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bowling Green State University and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University and is currently completing his PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

Jim is a member of the faculty and the advisory council for the Saint Leo University Institute for Professional Development. Jim is a member of the Society of Industrial/Organizational Psychologists, a member of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD), a member of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), a member of the Association of Psychological Type (APT) and a qualified MBTI® administrator. Jim lives in Dade City Florida with his wife, Lynda, and daughter, Katy, where he spends as much time as he can writing, traveling and serving in his local church.
